Her Royal Highness Princess Basma Bint Talal highlighted on Wednesday the role of Jordanian women in promoting national march and achieving further accomplishments.

In remarks at The Jordanian National Forum for Women (JNFW), organized by The Jordanian National Commission for Women (JNCW), Princess Basma stressed the need to resume efforts to empower women and enhance their role in society at various levels.

The Princess also reviewed the role of JNCW in promoting women’s issues and increasing their participation in public life.



JNCW is one of the first semi-governmental commissions established in the Arab world to promote women's issues.

Headed by HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal, JNCW is the authority on women's issues and activities for Jordan's public sector, and it represents the Kingdom in all dealings pertaining to women's affairs at national, regional, and international levels.
