His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday condoled Moroccan King Mohammad VI over victims of a minaret collapse in the city of Meknes.


During a telephone conversation, the King expressed his deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences over victims of the incident and wished the injured speedy recovery.

The two leaders also discussed bilateral ties and developments in the Middle East.

At least 41 people have been killed and 80 more wounded after a minaret collapsed at a mosque in northern Morocco during last Friday's prayers.
