Jordanian vascular surgeon Waleed Masoud performed 9 complicated surgeries at Al Shifa'a Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement that Dr. Masoud performed the surgeries with the help of a Palestinian medical team that included physicians Ismail Al Jadbeh and Tayseer Al Tanna.



Director of Public Relations and Media at the ministry Omar Al Nasir said Dr. Masoud's visit to the coastal enclave took place in coordination with the Palestinian Health Minister Fathi Abu Maghli to help in alleviating the suffering of the Palestinians caused by the Israeli blockade.
